Kate Entwhistle is one of our new Street Trainers she says "Lottie came into my school (Central School of Speech and Drama) and gave us a talk on was street training was and how it had come about. After that we went out to the areas surrounding school at did a bit of playing about. I thought it was so much fun and liberating; it really is about following your desires. I found that if i saw something and i wanted to do it then i should just do it, try it out and see how it feels.

In Rio by far the most joyful behaviour i witnessed in the street was kids, especially girls dancing to carioca funk music, the movements are sexual and exuberant. With Rio Film maker Marcia Derraik I made a 15 minute documentary about safety and joy and sexy dancing in the streets.

Premiere of Street Training Documentary, December 19th, from 4-6pm.

Come to the South London Gallery to see the first screening of the Street Training documentary. It talks about the Street Training we've been doing internationally since 2002 and about the team I've been training with in Camberwell. We are now in top form ready to train policy makers, police, planners, architects and developers. Our first engagement will be to train Southwark Police in February 2010.

Dominoes Supporters

On November 19th 2009 Fabio Salvatti led a Street Training session in Curitiba, Brazil.

The session was part of Festival de Cultura do Paraná, a huge event that gathered music, theater, visual arts, dance, performance and eco-politics.

This was the first session that happened in Curitiba, in which were trained different street skills, such as domino supporting, tree climbing, hide and seek, etc. The trainers were very enthusiastic about it, and plan to continue with regular sessions.

kit - look no legs!!

Last Chance to see the exhibition City as Gymnasium at the Cube Manchester. Other artists in the show include Neville Gabie and Media Shed.

The final session for the exhibition took place on Saturday and was attended by some faithful and some new faces. The youngest participant was in and out of her pushchair like a yoyo demonstrating how to squeeze through a discarded bike lock, summersault through a swinging sign and lie down and do nothing.
