phenomenological ethnography
This involves reflection on the ways it feels to move in the ways others do. Apprenticeship is a useful method allowing me to move the ways others move in order to understand their culture better.
ongoing research takes the form of learning capoeira and recently I learnt how to walk from young women in a Rio Favela. This resulted in a documentary called Rio Street Training. http://www.vimeo.com/12471170
